They say the third time around is the real deal. It sure looks like that for the fans and lovers of the Wonder Woman movie franchise and definitely for the star of the franchise Gal Gadot and the director who is making it all happen, Patty Jenkins. While the character of Wonder Woman has been in the public domain for many decades it’s only in the last 20 years that Hollywood has woken up to its cinematic and commercial potential. Wonder Woman first appeared as a character in a comic series published on October 21, 1941, by DC Comics. Since then she has appeared as the lead character in comics that are being published even today and has a global following. Wonder Woman is a superhero or rather super-heroine who fights evil forces everywhere and does not depend on any male figure for support. She has several supernatural powers and an arsenal of magical items that she uses to fight dangerous enemies such as Ares, Doctor Poison, Cheetah, Giganta, Doctor Psycho, Circe, Veronica Cale, and the First Born. Although she is a strong member of the male-dominated Justice League, Wonder Woman is an independent woman with her mind, smarts, philosophy, and resources to solve complex problems the way she sees fit. In many ways, Wonder Woman has been one of the earliest feminist characters in popular literature and art.

Gal Gadot is very excited that she will be donning the sexy Wonder Woman costume yet again and use her magical gifts to stop the bad guys and women from destroying humanity. Why leave saving the world to the Batmans, Supermans, and Spidermans of the world when a strong woman like Wonder Woman can do this job just as well if not better? From the thunderous response Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 have received from audiences all over the globe it is obvious that a large part of the cinema viewing world agrees with this. So come summer 2023 and millions of viewers all across America and the rest of the world will see Wonder Woman fighting tooth and nail like only a tough and brave woman can and save planet Earth from destruction.
